Woman, stolen vehicle sought in gas station robbery
A woman claiming she had a gun robbed the Presto gas station at 515 N. Seneca, near McLean, on Tuesday night.
Wichita police Officer Charley Davidson said the woman walked into the convenience store at around 8 p.m., told the 45-year-old employee inside she was armed — but never showed a weapon — and demanded money. The employee turned over about $50 in cash, according to a police report. The woman then left and got into a red Nissan Versa with a man inside.
Davidson said the Versa is a stolen vehicle. It bears Kansas tag 463 HZV, he said.

The woman was described as Hispanic, in her 30s, 5 feet tall and 150 pounds with red hair. She wearing blue jeans and a black jacket. The man was described as Hispanic and was wearing a blue hat and blue shirt.
