Dennis L. Rader, 60, of Park City, pleaded guilty to 10 killings dating
to 1974, and confessed to being Wichita's BTK serial killer. Rader was arrested Feb. 25, 2005, and sentenced Aug. 18, 2005. He is to serve 10 consecutive life sentences with no chance of parole for more than 40 years.
'BIND, TORTURE, KILL': THE BOOK
"Bind, Torture, Kill: The Inside Story of the Serial Killer Next Door" is published by HC, an imprint of HarperCollins.
A portion of The Eagle's proceeds are being donated to the Sedgwick County Law Enforcement Memorial Fund, which will honor fallen officers.

After 1978, BTK would go silent for 25 years, before sending a letter taking credit for Wegerle's unsolved slaying. Marine Hedge and Delores Davis were added after Dennis Rader's arrest in February 2005.
