The Sedgwick County district attorney’s office on Monday heard the Goddard police department’s case regarding the football official who alleged he was punched by a Goddard player on Nov. 13, according to spokesman Dan Dillon.

“This means that we have the case, and we’ll make a determination if what or any charges are filed,” Dillon said. “If charges are filed, a summons would likely be issued.”

Ryan Storck, the football official, said he was punched in the stomach by the Goddard player, a juvenile, as Storck and other officials separated the Heights and Goddard players following an altercation as the Class 5A playoff game ended. Heights won 41-27.
