Do you know what’s on your ballot for the Nov. 8 midterm election?
Be prepared. You can see a sample ballot of statewide and local races in Kansas before heading to the polls to vote. The state Secretary of State’s Voter View webpage has the information.
Here’s how to see your ballot:
- Go to https://myvoteinfo.voteks.org/VoterView
- Enter your name and birthdate, to see if you’re registered. You can also confirm your address and party affiliation, and find the polling location for your precinct.
- If you’re registered, you then see a link to a PDF of a sample ballot with the races that you would be casting your vote on: national, statewide and local. You can print it out, too.
You would not see races in districts you do not reside in, though. For example, if you do not live in the Wichita school district, you would not see the ballot question concerning school board representation.

If you have voter questions, you can call the election office at 316-660-7100 or go to sedgwickcounty.org/elections.
