Wichita man arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder
A 33-year-old man was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail Sunday evening on suspicion of second-degree murder, according to the jail’s booking reports.
Aaron Ray Suiter was arrested in the 800 block of North Litchfield and booked into jail at 6:33 p.m., records show.
Wichita police said Sunday they were investigating the death of a 20-year-old woman at a home on that block.
Officers went to the home at 11:10 a.m. after EMS was called. The woman, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead.
Police said her death was not random and several people were interviewed.
The woman’s death was the fourth police investigated over the weekend.
At 11:45 a.m. Sunday, police received a call from a resident in east Wichita who reported an unfamiliar vehicle that had been parked in the 7800 block of East Pagent. When police arrived, they found a 26-year-old man dead in the vehicle.
Late Saturday, a 62-year-old mother and her 23-year-old son were found dead in a house in the 7500 block of East Huntington. They were discovered by a 22-year-old woman who found her two family members dead after she came home from work at 11 p.m. Saturday.
