Bicyclist killed in Saturday collision identified
Authorities on Tuesday released the name of the man killed in a collision as he was riding his bicycle Saturday afternoon.
Randall Reyes, 53, was riding east on his bicycle on St. Louis Street when he began legally crossing West Street shortly before 4:45 p.m. Saturday, police say. Reyes was struck by a southbound BMW driven by a 16-year-old boy.
Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene. The impact prompted the BMW to cross the center line and strike a second vehicle, which then struck a third car, police have said.
No arrests have made been made in the case, which remains under investigation, police say.
