Are you hosting a July 4 barbecue and planning to shop for ice and hot dog buns right before guests arrive?

Or maybe you need to swing by the post office for a package pickup, or want to take your family for a swim?

Before you head out this weekend, we’ve compiled a list of Independence Day hours for many popular stores and services below.

Holiday hours can vary by location, so always be sure to double-check your go-to store’s hours before taking the trip.

Which Wichita stores are open and closed July 4?

Aldi: Reduced holiday hours. Most stores will close at 4 p.m.

Costco: Closed.

Dillons: Open regular store hours. Find your store’s hours here.

GreenAcres Market: Limited holiday hours — 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the E. Central Ave. store and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the E. 21st St. and W. 21st St. locations.

Home Depot: Stores close early at 8 p.m.

Lowe’s: The E. Kellogg store will be open regular hours. The stores on N. Maize and S. Ridge will close early at 8 p.m.

Sam’s Club: Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Plus members and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. for Club members.

Target: Stores are open. Check your location for specific hours.

Trader Joe’s: Closing early at 5p.m.

Walmart: Stores will be open. Check your location’s hours here.

Whole Foods Market: Closing early at 6 p.m.

What services are closed in Wichita on July 4?

U.S. Postal Service: Post Offices are closed July 4.

Wichita Public Library: Closed July 3 and July 4.

Wichita Swimming Pools: Aley, College Hill, Harvest and McAfee swimming pools are open 1 to 5 p.m. Minisa and Orchard pools are closed.

Wichita Transit: Buses will not operate.
