Wichita police identify two men killed Saturday in separate traffic crashes

Wichita police have identified two men killed in separate traffic crashes Saturday night as 43-year-old Andrew Vu and 21-year-old Anthony Sanchez.

Vu died after his 2005 Ducati motorcycle collided with a 2004 Lincoln Navigator SUV driven by a teen girl around 8:50 pm. at Kellogg and Main.

Sanchez died after he was hospitalized for injuries suffered when his 2003 Dodge Neon hit a 2014 Chevy Suburban around 9:15 p.m. at Hillside and Zimmerly.

Police have said speed and alcohol use may have contributed to the crash that killed Sanchez. Authorities didn’t report any other injuries in either collision.

Both men lived in Wichita.
