Chili feed to benefit Deputy Kunze’s family is Saturday, sheriff’s office says
There will be a chili feed on Saturday to benefit the family of slain Deputy Robert Kunze, officials said.
The chili feed will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Sedgwick County Park, 6501 W. 21st, the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release. The fundraiser will be at pavilion 4, close to the big hill.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly the Kunze’s family.
The sheriff’s office, The Honor Adversis Foundation and the Wichita Wagonmasters are hosting the chili feed.
A Facebook event page says the suggested donation for a bowl of chili is $5, and drinks can be purchased. There will also be a bake sale. Rubber memorial bracelets will be sold for $3, and metal bracelets are available for $10 through a pre-sale.
