He tends to visit old favorites like Sabor, HomeGrown and Lemongrass: Taste of Vietnam when he’s in town.

But every now and then, while he’s visiting Wichita to have his Cessna Citation serviced, Harrison Ford tries something new. Tuesday night was one of those nights.

For dinner, Ford visited First Mile Kitchen, the new Bradley Fair restaurant that Nick Korbee and wife Amanda Luginbill opened in January.

Ford again dined with his friend, pilot Spike Minczeski, and in photos Korbee posted on his Instagram Stories, the star can be seen raising a glass of red wine in a group toast that included Korbee. He’s also pictured smiling with Luginbill and even posing with local real estate agent Jonathan Weigand.

Korbee, who shared one of the pictures, spins vinyl at the restaurant and said that Ford requested that he play some Leonard Cohen music. Korbee said he played Jeff Buckley’s cover of Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

The owners and staff were surprised when Ford appeared, Korbee said. He was gracious and charming and even posed for a photo with a group of young women at the table next to him who were celebrating a birthday.

“It made for an extremely fun Tuesday night at First Mile Kitchen,” Korbee said.

On Tuesday morning, Ford dined at the HomeGrown off of Naftzger Park, and managers there say he returned again for breakfast on Wednesday morning.

Where will Harrison go next? If you see him or get a picture, let me know at dneil@wichitaeagle.com.
