The state-wide stay-at-home order will persist for at least another week and some change.

But Wichita restaurants that closed down when coronavirus fears first started in March continue to stage their comebacks, even if it’s just for to-go. Several favorites, including Sabor and College Hill Deli, reopened their doors last week. Many more returned this week, and several others are hinting imminent returns.

Here’s the latest:

Old Chicago: As we reported just before coronavirus closings started, Wichita’s Old Chicago restaurants were not affected by their parent company’s bankruptcy filing. But some people were confused when the local restaurants closed down for coronavirus.
