Wichita police said Wednesday they need the public’s help finding a man who is a suspect in a shooting that killed one person and wounded another Saturday on West 13th Street.
Police are seeking Ismael Pena, 20, the Police Department said in an e-mail Wednesday evening. The e-mail included a photo of Pena.
Super Khatiya, 24, died after being shot multiple times, and a 21-year-old man was seriously wounded, police said.
The shooting occurred about 11 p.m. Saturday as words were exchanged between people in a car that pulled up and others in a parking lot at the Knights of Columbus hall in the 3200 block of West 13th Street, police said. It happened as people were leaving a company Christmas party.
Police said Monday that two people were arrested and that they were looking for a third person.
