Ramps to close Saturday at I-235
Weekend drivers will see more construction work at the Kellogg and I-235 interchange on Saturday.
At 5 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 12), Kellogg will temporarily be reduced to one lane in each direction under the interstate, according to a news release from the Kansas Department of Transportation. This is for bridge repair work over the highway, KDOT says.

The actions are part of ongoing construction to redo the interchange, which started in 2015. The project is scheduled to be done in 2019.
Also, all four cloverleaf ramps at the interchange will be closed.
The repair work is expected to be done by 7 p.m. Saturday, said Tom Hein, KDOT spokesman. Two ramps will then reopen: the northbound I-235 ramp to westbound Kellogg and the southbound I-235 ramp to eastbound Kellogg, he said. The other ramps that were already closed will not reopen until later this year.
