Space Station to celebrate Towne East Square opening

Space Station is now open at Towne East Square.

The clothing store, which used to be in Old Town, is celebrating a grand opening on Saturday with specials and music, among other things.

In April, chairman and co-owner Cory Barnes told Have You Heard? that the move would generate a lot more foot traffic.

“Old Town foot traffic just isn’t what it should and can be,” he said at the time. “It’s more of an entertainment district than a shopping district, I’d say.”

Barnes says the Towne East store allows for a lot more product, including co-owner Tevin Jacques’ Not Human brand.
