Several retailers have opened at Towne East Square: Windsor Fashions, a specialty retailer offering apparel, accessories and shoes for women at affordable prices, is on the lower level in the Dillard’s wing next to Tilly’s; Anima Bella, a local women’s clothing boutique, is open on the upper level near Dillard’s; Envy Organics, a full-service nail salon, is on the lower level in center court next to Zales; and Great American Cookies is on the lower level near the food court.

The Joint Commission has awarded Hutchinson Regional Medical Center a certification designating the hospital as a Primary Stroke Center.

Newton Medical Center has been recognized by iVantage Health Analytics and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health for overall excellence in outcomes, reflecting top quartile performance among all rural acute care hospitals in the nation.

Home Instead Senior Care serving Sedgwick County has been selected as a “Caring Star of 2017” from ratings and reviews from family caregivers and seniors on the Caring.com website. It is among 390 Caring Star senior care providers across the nation.

Charity

Via Christi Health has received a $15,000 CVS Health Community Grant for its Transitional Care Clinic from CVS Health.

Subaru of Wichita has designated the Assistance League of Wichita as its hometown charity in Subaru of America’s 2016 Share the Love campaign, in which the automaker donates $250 to a charity selected by a new car buyer between Nov. 17 and Jan. 3. This year’s program includes national charities ASCPA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheels America and National Park Foundation.

Members of the Rotary Club of East Wichita raised more than $5,000 to deliver this week complete holiday turkey dinners to 100 families in the Wichita area. The families were identified by community and social service agencies including the Boys & Girls Club of South Central Kansas, Wichita Children’s Home, Big Brothers Big Sisters, KETCH, Ember Hope and Inter-Faith Ministries.
