Americans have turned to food delivery services in the pandemic.

Wichita has just added yet another restaurant delivery service, and this one is a popular national operation that has around 30 local restaurants signed up so far.

Grubhub, which is based in Chicago, operates in 1,600 cities in the United States and in London and is partnered with 80,000 restaurants. Earlier this month, it expanded into 34 new markets, and Wichita was one of them.

Among the restaurants Grubhub has signed up in Wichita: Meddys, Wings & Things, Delano Diner, Gabby's Peruvian Restaurant, Planet Sub, Felipe's, Denny's, Heroes, The Hill Bar & Grill, Molino's and Fetch Bistro. Many of the restaurants have limited versions of their menus available for Grubhub delivery.

To order, diners should visit grubhub.com and search for Wichita, then peruse the menus and place an order. The delivery fee varies per restaurant, but several in Wichita charge $2.99.

All users can also use the code WICHITAFREE to get free delivery through Thursday.

Grubhub is just the latest delivery outfit to set up shop in Wichita. Wichita 2 Go has been delivering here for two years, and UberEats arrived in November.
