Introducing the Wichita Eagle’s 2026 All-Metro softball team

The Wichita Eagle has selected its All-Metro softball team for the 2026 spring season, recognizing the top players and coaches from Sedgwick, Butler and Harvey counties.

The teams were selected after reviewing all-league and all-state teams from across the Wichita area, gathering feedback from coaches and evaluating players’ statistics, roles and team success. It is not designed simply as a list of the area’s most talented players, but rather a blend of elite ability, top-tier statistical production and the kind of winning impact to represent all levels of play around the Wichita area.

Bishop Carroll junior two-way star Keira Stripling, a Utah commit, was named the All-Metro Player of the Year after leading the Golden Eagles to a 28-win season culminating in the Class 5A state championship.
