Introducing the Wichita Eagle’s 2026 All-Metro baseball team

The Wichita Eagle has selected its All-Metro baseball team for the 2026 spring season, recognizing the top players and coaches from Sedgwick, Butler and Harvey counties.

The teams were selected after reviewing all-league and all-state teams from across the Wichita area, gathering feedback from coaches and evaluating players’ statistics, roles and team success. Production was the starting point, but level of competition, two-way value, postseason recognition and how much each player impacted winning were also taken into consideration when determining the three teams.

Mulvane senior ace Grey Sanders, a Kansas signee, was named the All-Metro Player of the Year after leading the Wildcats to a 28-1 record and the Class 4A state championship with an 8-0 record and 0.15 ERA.
