Introducing the bowlers on the 2025 Wichita Eagle high school bowling All-Metro team

The Wichita Eagle announced its All-Metro bowling team to recognize some of the best high school boys and girls bowlers around the area from the 2025 Kansas season.

The All-Metro team features seven of the top bowlers and a top coach from Sedgwick, Butler and Harvey counties. The team was selected based on a mixture of season-long scoring average and postseason success.

After each led their teams to a state championship, Derby senior Evan Clark and Campus junior Riley Emerson were named All-Metro Bowler of the Year on the boys and girls teams, respectively. Below you can find the full results of the Wichita Eagle All-Metro bowling team.

All-Metro boys first team

Dawson Baumgartner, Derby senior

Won the 6A individual gold medal with a season-best 741 series at the state meet. Finished with a 214 scoring average.

Cash Carns, Derby junior

Rolled a perfect 300 game and finished No. 7 in Kansas in scoring average at 225, including a fifth-place finish at the 6A state meet.

Evan Clark, Derby senior

The No. 1 scorer on the record-setting state championship team. Finished No. 2 in the state in scoring with a 232 average and finished third at 6A state.

Joseph Cervantes, Mulvane senior

Won the 4-1A individual gold medal with a season-best 713 series at the state meet. Finished with a 203 season average, including a 298 game.

Dayden Cunningham, Andover Central senior

Finished No. 5 in Kansas in scoring average at 227, including a 279 high game. Finished fourth at the 5A state meet.

Cameron Eastman, Cheney senior

Notched a top-10 finish at the 4-1A state meet and led the classification in scoring for the season with a 218 average, including a 781 high series.

Paxton McLeod, Andover Central junior

Won the 5A individual state title with a season-high 746 series at the state meet. Finished with a 193 scoring average.

Brent Cunningham, Derby coach

The Panthers broke their own state record with a score of 3,086 earlier in the season, then successfully repeated as Class 6A state champions. Team members included Dawson Baumgartner, Cash Carns, Evan Clark, Tai Gibbon, Tyler Huffman and Michael Stanger.

All-Metro girls first team

Riley Emerson, Campus junior

Boasted the No. 1 scoring average in Kansas by six pins this season at 214 and helped Campus win yet another Class 6A state championship with a third-place finish at the state meet.

Tia Level, Heights senior

The City League champion who finished with the No. 2 average in Kansas this season at 208, including a 684 high series.

Faith Pelz, Eisenhower freshman

A regional champion who finished No. 11 in Kansas in scoring average at 196, including a 265 high game and a top-35 finish at the Class 5A state meet.

Kalee Stockstill, Northwest senior

Finished No. 3 in scoring average in Kansas at 206, including a state-best 733 high series. Notched an eighth-place finish at the Class 6A state meet.

Audrie Thomas, Northwest sophomore

Notched the fifth-best high series in the state at 710 and was top-10 in Kansas in scoring average at 197, including a 23rd-place finish at the Class 6A state meet.

Anna Timmermeyer, Bishop Carroll senior

Delivered a fourth-place finish at the Class 5A state meet to help power Carroll to its first team championship in program history. Finished with a 187 scoring average.

Kyle Train, East sophomore

Finished 13th in Kansas in scoring average at 192, including a 14th-place finish at the Class 6A state meet.

Chris Joly, Andale coach

Led Andale to the first team state championship in school history, as Andale won the Class 4-1A team title with a score of 2,786 pins. Team members included Billie Jo Chaffin, Kinsey Neely, Clara Seiler, Riley Stoll, Calee Walters and Corin Walters.
