The seven-month wait for more basketball is almost over for Wichita State fans. Shocker Madness, the athletic department’s annual public start to the season, is Oct. 22.

Time and other details are still being finalized, but fans can expect a Shocker Madness that includes the standards from recent seasons. The men’s and women’s teams will be introduced, scrimmage and receive championship rings. Both teams won Missouri Valley Conference titles and played in the NCAA Tournament last season.

Season tickets will be available for pick up at Shocker Madness.
