K-State lands another offensive lineman to stay hot on football recruiting trail

Chris Klieman and the Kansas State football team are on a hot streak when it comes to recruiting.

The Wildcats reeled in their fifth commitment of the month Wednesday when Bennett Fraser, a 6-foot-5 and 265-pound offensive lineman, announced his plans to wear purple on social media.

“Blessed to announce that I’ve decided to end my recruitment process and commit to Kansas State University,” he wrote. “A quick thank you to my family, my friends and my teammates.”

Fraser is a three-star prospect from Kirksville, Missouri. He is the 13th-rated prospect in his home state for the recruiting class of 2026, per 247Sports.

In addition to football, he also competes in track-and-field. Last month, he became a state champion in the discus with a throw of 60.78 meters. He also finished second in the shotput with a toss of 18.41 meters.

Fraser chose K-State over Ball State, Missouri, Northwestern and UCF. He picked the Wildcats after making a recruiting visit to Manhattan over the weekend.

Fraser gives K-State nine known commitments for its recruiting class of 2026.

He followed in the footsteps of running back Tanner West and quarterback Miles Teodecki, as well as offensive linemen Justin Morales and Keegan Collins as K-State pledges since the beginning of June.

The Wildcats are loading up on offensive linemen during the 2026 cycle, as five of their nine commitments are blockers.
