Kansas State football extending offers and lining up visits with new transfer targets
It’s hard to believe the fall transfer window has only been open since Monday.
Over the past few days, Kansas State has lost nearly a dozen outgoing football players to the transfer portal. But Chris Klieman and the Wildcats have been hard at work trying to replenish their roster. As such, they have already targeted a large batch of potential incoming transfers.
K-State signed a new crop of high school prospects last week and it has a game against Rutgers on deck at the Rate Bowl. But recruiting never stops this time of year.
“We’ve got a busy week,” K-State coach Klieman said. “We’ve got finals this week. We’re trying to sneak in a practice. We’re trying to get a couple of lifts in. I know it’s a really hectic week ... Our bowl prep will really get going toward the end of the week.”
It can be difficult to monitor all the comings and goings of the transfer portal.
With that in mind, here is a rundown of where things stand for the Wildcats...
