About UAPB (1-7)

The Golden Lions have lost six straight games. All of them have been played on the road. They have already faced two other Big 12 teams and lost 109-54 at Cincinnati and 98-64 at Texas Tech. Arkansas-Pine Bluff fell at Missouri 112-63 last week. Klemen Vuga is the team’s leading scorer.

About Kansas State (5-2)

The Wildcats are coming off a third-place finish at the Paradise Jam. This will be their first game in nearly a week. Coleman Hawkins played his best game in a K-State uniform last time out as he led all scorers with 19 points in a win over Longwood. Jerome Tang will look to get more of that from him as the Wildcats return home.

K-State game prediction

The Wildcats should win this game by a comfortable margin.

Their largest victory of the season so far has been 24 against New Orleans. It won’t be a surprise if they surpass that margin on Sunday.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff is one of the worst teams in all of college basketball. The Golden Lions rank outside the top 300 nationally in many statistical categories, including 2-point defense. UAPB is allowing teams to make 67.3% of their shots from within the arc. That should be good news for a K-State offense that is blessed with several talented big men.

The Golden Lions have also played, and lost, six straight road games. None of them were competitive.

K-State should be able to win this game with ease.

Last game prediction: K-State 78, Longwood 65

Actual score: Liberty 80, Longwood 64

Season record: 5-2

Season record ATS: 3-4

Season record O/U: 4-3.
