Kansas State will begin a series of basketball games against Tulsa on Dec. 9 next season at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena.

The Wildcats and Golden Hurricane agreed to the series months ago. K-State formally announced dates for the games on Wednesday.

Tickets for the neutral-court game at Intrust will go on sale Sept. 5 and can be purchased through the K-State athletics ticket office. Tickets are priced at $50 for lower-level sideline seating, $25 for lower-level corner seating and $15 for lower-level end seating.

K-State and Tulsa will play each other three times over the next three seasons. After the game at Intrust, K-State will head to Tulsa for a road game on Dec. 8, 2018 and then host Tulsa at Bramlage Coliseum in 2019. The date for that game hasn’t been decided.

“We are excited to once again play in front of our passionate fan base in Wichita,” K-State coach Bruce Weber said in a statement. “We have had tremendous crowds for each of our games at Intrust Bank Arena and, with a quality foe like Tulsa, I anticipate another terrific environment.”

This will be K-State’s fourth game at Intrust Bank Arena. The Wildcats have previously played West Virginia, Gonzaga and Colorado State in Wichita, going 2-1.

Tulsa went 15-17 last season. K-State finished 21-14.

K-State’s nonconference schedule for the 2017-18 season is nearly complete. Other notable games next season will include a trip to Vanderbilt, a home game against Georgia in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, a neutral-court game against Washington State in Spokane and the Las Vegas Invitational.
