Search the donations given to Wichita mayoral candidates up for election Tuesday
You can search contributions made to Wichita mayoral hopefuls facing off in Tuesday’s election using Kansas.com’s interactive campaign finance database posted below. It includes all donations received by candidates on the Aug. 1 primary ballot.
The database includes money given to incumbent Brandon Whipple and challengers Bryan Frye, Celeste Racette, Julie Rose Stroud and Lily Wu.
Four of the nine candidates — Jared Cerullo, Shelia Davis, Anthony Gallardo and Tom Kane — either reported $0 in contributions or were exempt from filing a report listing contributions and expenses because they raised and spent less than $1,000. They have no entries in the database. Cerullo, who self-funded his campaign but listed no contributions, reported a $5,372 deficit as his campaign balance.
The information was compiled from expenditure and last-minute contribution reports filed with the Sedgwick County Election Office.
