Watch: Candidates for Wichita mayor debate Thursday

Candidates for Wichita mayor participated in a debate at KPTS studios Thursday.

The Eagle livestreamed the debate on our Facebook page. PBS Kansas broadcast the event on channel 8.1 and livestreamed it on KPTS.org. KSN and KAKE did, too.

The debate, airing from 7 to 8:30 p.m., was hosted by PBS Kansas, with the Wichita Eagle, KSN News and KAKE News.

The panelists asking questions were: Dion Lefler of the Wichita Eagle, Craig Andres of KSN News and Pilar Pedraza of KAKE News.

Seven of the nine candidates participated: Jared Cerullo, Shelia Davis, Bryan Frye, Celeste Racette, Julie Rose Stroud, incumbent mayor Brandon Whipple and Lily Wu.
