Another snow day: These Wichita-area school districts cancel class again amid storm
Students in Wichita and surrounding districts will get another snow day on Wednesday.
The Wichita school district announced at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday that classes would be canceled again because of snow and cold. Suburban districts made the same decision.
Some Wichita city facilities will remain closed Wendesday as well.
Meanwhile, Wichita State University plans to be back in session on Wednesday, although instructors can hold classes remotely or cancel them.
Bitter cold wind chills are forecast between -15 to -25 until Friday. The Wichita metro area is currently under an extreme cold warning.
