Wichita has a chance for rain and highs in the 80s every day this week, NWS forecasts

A chance for rain is in the weather forecast in Wichita every day this week, as well as high temperatures in the 80s.

The National Weather Service forecast for the city, as of Sunday evening, calls for a greater chance of rain during the first half of the week.

A hazardous weather outlook from NWS Wichita states that multiple rounds of thunderstorms are possible across the region for the week. Risks include heavy rain, flooding and strong to severe thunderstorms.

The prediction follows the issuing of a flash flood watch for all of central Kansas and parts of south-central Kansas through Monday morning.
