Puppy is returned to Kansas shelter twice before she’s even 1 year old. Meet Charm
A puppy in Kansas was again in need of a home after she was returned to a shelter twice before she even reached a year old.
But, as they always say, third time’s a charm.
Originally named Londra, the young pup was on her third (and hopefully her final) stay at the Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka after being returned twice.
“This was Londra’s third time at the shelter - at just 9 months old! Her first two adoptions didn’t work out…they weren’t the right fit, and as her new family said, the third time’s a charm,” the shelter said in a Nov. 11 Facebook post.
And now, the pretty girl has a new family and a new name.
“They have named her Charm, and she’ll get to go to work with them regularly,” the shelter noted.
People in the comment section were elated for the pup and congratulating the new family.
“She looks so happy and ready for a new adventure,” one person said.
“Charm is charming. With a more active lifestyle like this, more sniffins and hugs, I bet, she will be just perfect this time,” another noted. “I bet her new parents understand the need for 3 month integration in the pack process. Best of luck to you all, and thank you for giving this energetic bundle a chance to become the best pup ever.”
“Charm! She is such an angel. Go live your best life, girlie,” someone said.
“Simply LOVE these adoptions,” one person expressed.
