Man sought in Medicine Lodge killing arrested in Montana

A man wanted in connection with a Medicine Lodge homicide was arrested Tuesday in Montana, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday.

Clinton Wayne Rogers, 34, was a “person of interest” in the killing of Joyce A. Foulkrod, the KBI said. The 61-year-old’s body was found by a family member inside her home on July 27. A couple of days later, the KBI put out information about Rogers, including a picture of him and his truck.

That same day, the KBI said Rogers was no longer traveling in the white F-150 pickup. The news release said he had stolen a red 1995 Chevrolet Camaro in Kingman County on Sunday, the day before Foulkrod was found dead.

He was arrested at 10:30 p.m. central time in Montana on a suspicion of a theft warrant out of Kingman County, the KBI said.

Agents are traveling to Montana to interview Rogers.
