Pup named Teddy may be tiny, but he has a big personality — and needs a home
A tiny dog in Kansas is getting some much needed attention on social media thanks to his adorable face — and past profession.
Teddy is a toy breed pup who is a little love bug based on his likes, the Helping Hands Humane Society in Topeka said in an Aug. 12 Facebook post.
“Teddy is 11 years young and searching for a family to enjoy his retirement with,” the post details.
“He’s worked a 9-5 job as a toy and treat inspector for the past 10 years and has officially retired.”
The Yorkshire Terrier came into the shelter a little more fuzzier than he is now, but after a haircut, he’s down to impress a new “bestie,” the shelter noted in the comment section.
His alert facial features indicate a big personality and, like a lot of toy breeds, he enjoys his hobbies.
“He has so much free time now to do things he loves most.. napping and cuddling. He is just missing a best friend to enjoy his hobbies with,” the post said.
