An agile shelter pup in Indiana and his spud-like ways are drawing attention online thanks to his colorful — and hilarious — adoption profile on Facebook.

The 2-year-old American pit bull terrier is an absolute delight that not only relishes in human cuddles, but should be praised for his race-car speed that he manages on very little stems.

“Ready to meet the ultimate beefcake of the dog world? Kermit is strong and surprisingly speedy, despite his short legs-he’s like a turbo-charged potato! While he’s not the most graceful pup on the block, his enthusiasm more than makes up for it,” the Humane Society for Hamilton County said in a July 24 post.

“Walking Kermit isn’t just a stroll-it’s a workout! His strength and energy keep things lively, making every outing an adventure. He’s housebroken and crate-trained like a pro, so no worries there! Plus, he’s absolutely obsessed with toys-give this guy a squeaky toy, and he’ll be your best friend forever. Kermit is also super affectionate and loves to give kisses, so get ready for some serious cuddle sessions with this big-hearted boy!”

Kermit is also no pushover since he weighs around 74 pounds, and he’s picky with other canine companions, so a meet and greet will be necessary. Also, cats are a no-go since he prefers to focus on his human pals.

People flooded the comment section with praises for Kermit.

“Oh my goodness!!! I absolutely adore him!!!! Please someone, adopt this sweet boy!” one person said.

“What a handsome boy,” another complimented.

“Kermit de Dog,” someone said. “Such a good boy!”

“What a hunk,” one person expressed.

More information about Kermit and other adoptable pets can be found on the shelter’s website. The shelter is located in Fishers, which is about a 20-mile drive northeast from Indianapolis.
