Sheriff's Office seeks public's help in 2015 homicide
The crime
During the early morning of June 14, 2015, 23-year-old Welly Syakhasone was shot multiple times at his residence in the Oaklawn area of Sedgwick County. Syakhasone later died.
Investigators think robbery is a possible motive. Witnesses reported seeing three people walk up to the residence, run from the scene a short time later and leave the area in a black Ford SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer or a Ford Expedition. It appears that the windows on the SUV were tinted.
