Police ask for help solving homicide
Wichita police are asking for tips which will lead to the arrest of the intruder who shot and killed a 66-year-old man in July.
Arthur Goebel was killed after a man forced his way into Goebel’s home in the 2300 block of East MacArthur at around 2:25 a.m. on July 16. The intruder fired when Goebel confronted him, Detective Wendy Hummell said Friday. Goebel’s 62-year-old wife called 911 to report the shooting,
The gunman has not been found. Police are asking the public to share any tips that might lead to an arrest.
