Arrest made following Sunday shooting death of Wichita man, police say
An arrest was made Tuesday following the shooting death of a 41-year-old Wichita man Sunday, according to the Wichita Police Department.
Police, though a news release issued Wednesday morning, said a 32-year-old man was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of Marcus McNealey.
McNealey died at a hospital after he was shot in the 2000 block of East 21st Street. Police found him in a parking lot at about 12:45 a.m. on Sunday.
The suspect, who was taken into custody at a home, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
