Wichita man identified in fatal semi crash near Love’s truck stop
Wichita police have identified 35-year-old Joseph McCartney as the man killed in a Monday morning collision between a car and a semi near a north Wichita gas station.
McCartney’s white Ford Focus collided with the back of a disabled semi on 21st Street just after 7 a.m. on Monday, Wichita police said. McCartney, who was driving the hatchback, died at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
