A police car chase Saturday night ended with a crash at the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, according to Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs.

The chase was reported around 9:59 p.m. on the Eisenhower airport parkway in front of the airport terminal, the report said.

A 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was fleeing from law enforcement. The pickup was being driven by 34-year-old Samantha Bailey of Wichita, according to the crash log.

Bailey reportedly lost control of the Silverado while “driving erratically,” the log said.

The truck left the roadway and struck a concrete pole base at the entrance of the parking garage, the report read.

Bailey was taken to Ascension Via Christi St. Francis with minor injuries.
