Couple tell police they were threatened in west Wichita Warren Theatre parking lot
A couple reported that they were threatened in the parking lot of the Warren Theatre in west Wichita early Saturday morning.
According to Wichita police, the two were in the parking lot of the theater near 21st Street and Tyler at 12:05 a.m. Saturday when a car drove by. The person driving the car pointed a gun at them and shouted obscenities before leaving, they said.
The car was described as a white Pontiac. There were no injuries and no arrests.
Warren Theatre owner Bill Warren said that theater security personnel didn’t see the incident and the security cameras didn’t show it.
