Kansas teen accused of raping victim younger than 14 arrested by U.S. marshals in Arkansas
A Kansas teenage rape suspect has been arrested by federal law enforcement officers in Arkansas.
The U.S. Marshals Service said in a news release that German Diaz was arrested in Springdale, Arkansas, on Monday. He was wanted by law enforcement in Lyon County, Kansas, for allegedly raping a child victim who was younger than 14.
Lyon County Crime Stoppers on Feb. 11 said the 19-year-old Diaz was wanted by the Emporia Police Department on multiple warrants, including a rape charge.
