Man killed while walking near Clearwater identified
The man who was struck and killed while he was walking near Clearwater early Sunday morning has been identified as 43-year-old Jeremy Napier of Clearwater.
Napier was walking at about 2:30 a.m. on 103rd Street South between Ridge Road and Hoover Road when he was struck by a vehicle and killed, according to the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators think the vehicle involved in accident is a dark red 2007 to 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe sport utility vehicle, Lt. Jay McLaurian said. There may be damage to the front of the SUV.
