Man, sought in death of woman last month, arrested
The man wanted in the killing of Tamsen R. Kayzer, 40, on Oct. 30 has been arrested and charged with first-degree premeditated murder.
Darnell D. Coleman was booked into the Sedgwick County Jail on suspicion of the crime at around 10 p.m. Wednesday. He’s held on a $500,000 bond. He appeared in court Thursday afternoon to be formally charged, according to Sedgwick County District Court records.
Kayzer’s body was found in the 10800 block of South Meridian, near Peck, in rural Sedgwick County near some train tracks.
Deputies sent to the scene “noticed trauma” on the body and the next day announced they were looking for Coleman.
Coleman is due back in court for a preliminary hearing Nov. 30.
