Two victims in I-135 crash remain hospitalized
The two men injured in a one-vehicle crash Tuesday morning on I-135 south of Kellogg remain hospitalized – one of them in critical condition.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that Jordan Diaz was driving south when the black Cadillac drifted to the left, then made a sharp right turn and left the freeway, slamming into a support pillar for an overhead pedestrian bridge near the Lincoln exit shortly after 10:35 a.m.
Diaz, 20, is in fair condition at Via Christi Hospital St. Francis, a house supervisor said early Wednesday morning. His passenger, 30-year-old Mack Colvin, is in critical condition.
Authorities aren’t sure why the Cadillac left the highway.
