How much are the new nonstop flights from Wichita to Nashville? We price-checked
Starting in March, travelers out of Wichita will have a new city they can fly to without any layovers in other airports.
Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport announced Southwest Airlines is launching a nonstop service between Wichita and Nashville, “one of the nation’s fastest-growing leisure and business destinations.”
This will make it easier and faster for music lovers, brides to be (and their bridesmaids), business professionals and other travelers to make the trip from ICT to Music City.
“We’re thrilled to continue growing our partnership with Wichita by adding Nashville to our route map,” Hudson Hadd, network planning consultant for Southwest, said in a news release. “Whether customers are traveling for business, a weekend getaway, or to connect beyond Nashville, we’re excited to offer another convenient nonstop option from ICT.”
So, how much will these nonstop flights from ICT to BNA cost? We checked.
Using the airline’s “Low Fare Calendar,” we checked the prices of nonstop, one-way flights from Wichita to Nashville, and then from Nashville to Wichita. Southwest is only accepting bookings through April 5, so the dates we searched are from March 1 through April 5.
As always, prices can change depending on when you book, so always double check before booking any trips.
Wichita to Nashville nonstop flight prices
These are the Southwest Airlines prices for a nonstop, one-way flight from Wichita to Nashville, as of July 17.
The first nonstop flight from Wichita to Nashville is Thursday, March 11. A seat will cost you $270 for basic (meaning your seat will be assigned to you at check-in), or $310 for choice (you get to pick your seat). Preferred seats cost $360 and seats with extra legroom cost $405.
The cheapest nonstop flight we found is $149 for a basic seat. The first $149 ticket is for Tuesday, March 16, but there are a few other options in March. The same flight can cost you as much as $284 depending on the seat you choose.
If you would like to fly out on a Friday, the cheapest flight out of Wichita is Friday, March 19. A seat is priced at $179 for basic or $219 for choice.
The cheapest Saturday flights we found in the month of March cost $169 for basic or $209 for choice. This price can be found on March 20 and March 27.
The most-costly nonstop flight, not including the first flight on March 11, from Wichita to Nashville is $204 for basic or $244 for choice. The flight leaves Sunday, March 14.
Nashville to Wichita nonstop flight prices

The first nonstop flight from Nashville to Wichita is also March 11. Seats range in price from $169 to $304.
The cheapest nonstop flights from Nashville to Wichita, through April 5, are $149 for a basic seat.
If you like to return home on Sundays, the cheapest nonstop return flights are available for $169 for basic or $209 for choice.
The most-costly nonstop flight we found from Nashville to Wichita is $204 for basic or $244 for choice on Sunday, March 21.
