Earthquake near Cherokee, Okla., felt in Wichita
A magnitude-3.9 earthquake struck about seven miles northeast of Cherokee, Okla., shortly after 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake could be felt in downtown Wichita.
On Friday, a magnitude-4.0 earthquake in Oklahoma was felt in the Wichita area.
