A woman died Saturday after being involved in a hit-and-run collision in Sedgwick County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The incident happened around 12:15 p.m on K-96 at milepost 265.8. A white Chevy pickup truck was eastbound on K-96. Two motorcyclists were also eastbound in the lane next to the Chevy pickup, KHP crash logs said.

The pickup truck moved into the other lane, causing 43-year-old Ann Tournear to maneuver her Harley Davidson motorcycle to avoid a collision. She lost control of her motorcycle and struck the other rider. The driver of the pickup truck did not stop, according to crash logs.

Tournear was taken to a Wichita hospital, where she died from her injuries. The other motorcyclist, 47-year-old Gregory Tournear of Great Bend, was not injured, the report said.
