Man, 62, dead after motorcycle strikes curb, crashes Monday, Wichita police say

A man is dead after suffering a medical emergency that caused him to crash his motorcycle Monday shortly before noon, police spokesman Chad Ditch said.

A 911 call came in around 11:30 a.m. from the 5800 block of S. Broadway near the intersection of Broadway and 55th street, Ditch said.

Clay Worley, 62, of Wichita, was riding southbound on Broadway on his blue 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he suffered a medical emergency that caused him to strike a curb and crash his motorcycle, according to Ditch.

EMS rendered aid but Worley was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, Ditch added.
