Wichita’s Trader Joe’s is getting a new Bradley Fair neighbor
The J.Crew brand is returning to Bradley Fair, this time as a J.Crew Factory.
The store will open next year, most likely in the first several months of 2025, next to Trader Joe’s on the south end of the center where Pedego Electric Bikes Wichita used to be.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this community,” said an e-mailed statement by Jody Gietl, senior vice president and general manager for J.Crew Factory in North America.
“We’re looking forward to offering families great styles for every occasion, all at compelling prices.”
Price is what sets apart the Factory brand from traditional J.Crew stores.
Like its future neighbor Nordstrom Rack just down from Trader Joe’s, J.Crew Factory is known for its discounted merchandise.
J.Crew Mercantile, which also sold clothing at a lower price point, formerly was at Bradley Fair from 2016 to 2019.
For a long time after Bed Bath & Beyond, Fresh Market and Pier 1 left the south end of Bradley Fair, those buildings sat vacant.
One by one, they’ve been filling back up, with Trader Joe’s opening in 2019 and Nordstrom Rack opening in 2023.
The new J.Crew will have a grand-opening offer for everyone who visits the store and a birthday surprise and other perks for everyone who gets a J.Crew Passport, the chain’s loyalty program.
The store also has special deals for students, teachers, first responders, health-care workers and members of the military.

Jessica Branning, Bradley Fair’s general manager, said it’s exciting to bring the brand for Wichita shoppers.
“We know they will appreciate the timeless, accessible, and well-made American style they are famous for.”
