There are four new businesses coming to Towne East Square, three of which are coming this year, one of which won’t open until next year.

The mall already announced one of the new tenants: Scheels. Now, there’s a July 1 opening date for the business, which is a mix of sporting goods and entertainment offerings.

There are boutiques within Scheels along with a candy store and cafe. There also are sports simulators and interactive arcade games.

Along with Scheels, two clothing and accessory stores also are opening at Towne East.

Earthbound Trading Co. will open on the lower level in the Dillard’s wing this spring.

The store will sell men and women’s clothing and accessories along with home and gift items, crystals and aroma and spa items such as essential oils.

Dry Goods is a subsidiary of Von Maur, which also is at Towne East. The clothing and accessory store, which skews a bit younger, will be on the upper level in the center court area. It’s coming to the mall this fall.

Finally, the KPOT restaurant is opening in the former Third Planet space near the southeast entrance.

Third Planet moved to the upper level of the Dillard’s wing.

KPOT’s website describes the chain restaurant as “a unique, hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors.”

“But its more than just a meal,” the site said, calling it “hot pot and Korean BBQ modernized with a full bar and nightlife atmosphere.”

There’s no opening time line yet except that KPOT is coming in 2024.
