Elvis has once again left the building and found a new and perhaps final one

Shawn “Elvis” Willson has once again moved his DeVilles Barbershop and Shaving Parlor, but he said he hopes this is the last time.

“This would be the fourth location since 2012,” he said.

Most recently, the shop has been near Pawnee and Meridian.

“It’s almost getting too commercial over there,” Willson said.

He’s moved to 325 W. 31st St. South, which he said is a residential area with more foot traffic.

Plus, the shop has dropped from nine chairs to five.

“It was time to downsize a little bit,” Willson said. “After COVID, things did not snap back good enough.”

In addition to being “totally tired of moving,” Willson said he thinks this new site will work for the long term.

“We’ve got a really good home at this new location.”
