Another new brewery is coming to Wichita, this time to the Plazzio development

It looks like Wichita is getting another new brewery.

According to plans at City Hall and an online job listing, Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery is coming to 1380 N. Greenwich, which is part of George Laham’s Plazzio development on the southeast corner of 13th and Greenwich. It’ll be by Chicken N Pickle.

The chain is part of Tennessee-based CraftWorks Holdings, which also owns Logan’s Roadhouse and Old Chicago among other concepts.

Logan’s and Old Chicago have Wichita sites that are remaining open despite CraftWorks’ bankruptcy filing.

No one at CraftWorks or Plazzio had a comment on the potential restaurant.

The Rock Bottom chain bills itself as a tank-to-table concept with on-site brewers.

“Any brew that does not meet their ridiculously high standards goes right down the drain,” the chain’s website says. “Our beers have never been exposed to light, heat, or oxygen like mass-produced beer, so maximum freshness is maintained.”

The site also says its food has a southwest flair. The menu includes nachos, ribs, steaks, salads, hamburgers and wings among other things.

Look for more information as it is available.
